What to Expect from Regenerative Medicine at Protea Performance Center

If you’re living with chronic pain and haven’t found lasting relief, there’s a different path forward—one focused on healing, not just managing symptoms.

I’m Dr. Danny Clark, Director of Orthobiologics at the Protea Performance Center, and I’d like to walk you through how we approach pain relief and recovery using regenerative therapies. Whether it’s tendon, ligament, nerve, or joint pain, our goal is to help you move pain-free—without surgery or long-term medication.

The First Visit: A Deep Dive Into Your Case

Your first appointment with us is crucial. We block out up to 90 minutes to:

  • Review your comprehensive medical history

  • Conduct a thorough physical exam

  • Use in-office ultrasound imaging to assess the condition of your tissues in real time

This detailed assessment often helps us avoid the need for more expensive or time-consuming imaging like MRIs. Most importantly, it allows us to pinpoint the true source of your pain.

Personalized Regenerative Treatments

Once we have a diagnosis, we’ll talk about your treatment options. Our practice focuses on regenerative medicine, including:

  • PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

  • Bone marrow concentrate (your own adult stem cells)

  • Adipose tissue injections

These therapies are designed to stimulate healing in damaged tissue—rather than masking pain. Whether you’re dealing with arthritis, tendonitis, or a ligament injury, these injections aim to activate your body’s own healing response.

Precision Matters: Why Image-Guided Injections Are Key

Unlike many regenerative clinics, every injection we perform is image-guided using ultrasound. That means we can see exactly where the needle is going, ensuring it reaches the targeted area—whether that’s a torn tendon, a degenerated joint, or an irritated nerve.

We also take an extra step: we test every PRP sample for platelet concentration and dose. Research shows these factors directly impact outcomes, so we tailor your treatment based on what your body needs.

Follow-Up That Supports Your Healing Journey

Our commitment doesn’t stop after the injection.

  • We follow up immediately after the procedure to monitor your healing trajectory.

  • We make adjustments as needed—whether that’s additional therapy, movement modifications, or a second treatment.

  • We schedule a three-month follow-up visit to review your progress and determine next steps.

And unlike some clinics, we don’t sell injection packages. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. We take it one step at a time—starting with a single, comprehensive treatment—and assess from there.

Want to Know If You’re a Candidate?

If you’re wondering whether regenerative medicine might be right for you, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute discovery call. We’ll talk through your symptoms and history to see if this approach is a good fit.

At Protea Performance Center, we’re committed to helping you return to the activities you love—without pain.
